This new Antonio Federici ad promoting their Gelato Italiano is causing waves and controversy in the UK. With a copy that says 'Kiss Temptation,' the ad shows a nun and a priest about to kiss. The more scandalous version shows the hunky priest with his shirt off while the nun puts her leg upon him with the copy ‘Submit to temptation.’ The ad has already run in some publications, but it is now under investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority after complaints about it. I am sure the company expected the ad to be ‘excommunicated’, and probably that’s why they published it, so they can create buzz and publicity for their new brand.

Investigation? Catholics are so silly. Maybe it's a sexy couple of gelato lovers playing around in fetish gear. Would the church have been happier if she was replaced by a 12-year-old boy?
In researching our own article about this sexy nun ad we found that, sometimes, the ASA would receive hundreds of complaints about an ad and yet do nothing. Yet, it took just 10 complaints to get this one banned.
