Sjaak Hullekes Wins Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards

Homotography congratulates emerging fashion designer Sjaak Hullekes and his (business) partner Sebastiaan Kramer for winning the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards 2009, which was held on Friday November 6. The award is given to the Dutch high-end fashion label with the ‘most potential for the international fashion market.’

Winning the grand prize of € 25.000, Sjaak Hullekes was nominated alongside fellow Dutch designers Mada van Gaans, Iris van Herpen, Bas Kosters, and Jeroen van Tuyl. Celebrating its third year, Monique van Heist and Klavers van Engelen are the previous two winners of this competition.

Here are some images from Sjaak Hullekes’ runway show at the awards, taken by Peter Stigter.

And here’s a look at more designs. We look forward to seeing and featuring more from this young label.
