Joe Lally's a great photographer, but sometimes, as here, his fetishes overwhelm his subject. River's neither old enough nor masculine enough to balance things out.
He has some parentage with Natalia Vodianova?
The first thing that came into my mind when I saw him was Vodianova.
Ken, I actually think River is a perfect for this editorial, because it's about a Moroccan boy, not a man. It might be a stereotype, but objectified boys is a common theme in literature about that area.

That picture of River with his leg up and the robe covering his, um, parts is SO sexy! He's definitely my fave male model these days.
