Taschen reintroduces the story and homoerotic work of iconic physique painter George Quaintance (1902–1957) with their new title, The Art Of George Quaintance [ US | UK ]. Born and raised on a farm in rural Virginia, Quaintance was way ahead of his time, forging the way for the acceptance of homotography in popular culture. Taschen playfully explains, "Had he been born a few decades later, we might know him today as a multi-tasking celebrity stylist, as a coach on Dancing with the Stars, or perhaps as the fine artist he aspired to be."
The must-have book features the writing of Pulitzer Prize nominee Reed Massengill and editing by Dian Hanson, notorious for her provocative and popular Taschen titles.

LOVE that...there is something to be said for the matter of embracing or accepting this beauty rather than fearing what you need not digest -- but Let It Be.
