Fernando Fernandes’ Bad Fortune at The Wheels

 

I was very sad to find out that Brazilian model Fernando Fernandes has been in a car accident in Sao Paulo this past July. He was driving alone as he lost control of the car and hit a tree, leaving him paralyzed and immobile from the waist down. I somehow never heard of this, and after a quick search I found out some links at Made in Brazil that led me to articles and a new interview with the 28 year-old model and former Big Brother Brazil contestant.

  

Fernando Fernandes has recently shot into international fame by joining the very elite group of top models Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Noah Mills and Tyson Ballou in the new D&G Anthology fragrance ad campaign. Fernando and Eva represented La Roue de la Fortune 10 (The Wheel of Fortune) fragrance.

 

 

But long before the D&G campaign, we have featured Fernando through the work of Brazilian photographer Didio. According to a new interview, which you can check out below, Fernando has suffered a serious spinal injury and a fractured vertebra. He is currently going through physical therapy.

 

 

 

We send Fernando our best wishes of a very speedy recovery.

Fragrant Nudity, The D&G Anthology Commercial

 

After the numerous short clips, we finally get to see the D&G Anthology commercial in all its 1 minute glory. In my opinion, from the print ads to the commercial, this was a fantastic Dolce & Gabbana campaign. I am guessing the commercial is directed by Mario Testino, who also did the print ads.

Didio’s Brazilian Men Evidence

 

Didio brings the Brazilian sexiness touch to the first issue of new magazine, Men Evidence. The editorial features models Fernando Fernandes, Isaac Farisato, and Jonas Sulzbach  hanging out and playing around at a beautiful beach. A classic Didio photo shoot with styling by Rufus Kellman.

6 Naked Top Models in D&G Anthology by Mario Testino

 

Dolce & Gabbana are bringing out the eye-candy once again with six naked top models: Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Noah Mills, Tyson Ballou and Fernando Fernandes. This is the ad campaign for their new D&G Anthology unisex fragrance, shot by Mario Testino.

 

 

The D&G Anthology collection features five non-gender specific scents that are inspired by Tarot cards and their numbers:  Le Bateleur 1 (The Magician, Tyson Ballou), L’Imperatrice 3 (The Empress, Naomi Campbell) , L’Amoureaux 6 (Noah Mills), La Roue de la Fortune 10 (The Wheel of Fortune, Eva Herzigova and Fernando Fernandes) and La Lune 18 (The Moon, Claudia Schiffer). The fragrance sells for $65.

Beach Fun by Didio

 

Ahh, the Summer! Not only is V magazine bringing on the heat with their swimsuit issue by Mario Testino, our favorite Brazilian photographer Didio is back with some sizzling beach fun.

 

 

These images are from a shoot for Tetu magazine. They feature models Fernando Fernandes (Egmodels), Isaac Farisato  & Jonas Sulzbach (L’equipe). Rufus Kellman did the styling.
