Steven Klein’s Raw Meat in Vogue Hommes International

Steven Klein sticks it to PETA in the new issue of Vogue Hommes International with an intense editorial featuring Johnny Angel that reminded me of his ‘Meat Packing’ from a few years ago. Featured in the Fall/Winter 2009-2010 issue, ‘Plaisir Solitaire’ is a bloody presentation of designer fashion with raw dead meat and slaughtered animals. Carine Roifeld styled the shoot with pieces from Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Dior Homme and more. Our thanks to ModelHommes for the scans.

Mario Testino is all about showing skin in V#61, the new issue of V magazine. First we saw his orange-tastic Lady Gaga editorial, and here we bring you the aptly titled ‘Wild Things.’ Male models Johnny Angel, Cameron Bailey, Tommy Dunn and  Brett Robinson roam free and naked alongside the beautiful Anne Vyalitsyna and Carmen Kass. The shoot was styled by Beat Bolliger. More images after the jump.

Moncler Fall/Winter Ad Campaign by Bruce Weber

Italian brand Moncler granted Bruce Weber total creative freedom in order to shoot their latest Fall/Winter ad campaign. So what did they get? Bruce lying in bed in a pile of cameras and dogs, and a group of shirtless male models pushing a huge ball made of the new Moncler collection up a hill. The adorable dogs also looked quite fashionable wearing the Moncler jackets.

The ads star emerging model Johnny Angel, who Bruce Weber recently introduced to us in the pages of Vogue Paris. See Johnny at the beach in this editorial.
