Lady Gaga by Nick Knight | Born This Way

 

 

Lady Gaga kicks off 2011 (and my first post of the new year) with a brand new promo image for her upcoming record Born This Way. The image is by SHOWstudio mastermind Nick Knight, with fashion direction by Nicola Formichetti. The single Born This Way is out on February 13, and the album of the same name is out on May 23, 2011. Lady Gaga’s last record The Fame Monster ended up one of Homotography’s Favorite 2010 Albums.

Visionary SHOWstudio photographer Nick Knight pays tribute to his frequent collaborator, the late Lee Alexander McQueen, with this short film: To Lee, With Love, Nick. Styled by Edward Enninful, the film is set to an exclusive soundtrack by Björk.

Nick Knight Photography Book

 

Nick Knight is not just a brilliant photographer, he is a visual visionary who, with his SHOWstudio, continues to push fashion and art photography into new frontiers. This makes Nick’s new self-titled book a must have for all photography and art lovers.
