Levi’s ‘Go Forth’ Ad Campaign by Ryan McGinley

When he’s not starring in Marc Jacobs ads or debuting new photography work, acclaimed photographer Ryan McGinley is applying his refreshingly unique style to mainstream denim ad campaigns. Following in the footsteps of Wrangler, Levi’s scored the talented photographer for their new campaign Go Forth. The campaign was done by ad agency Wieden + Kennedy, Portland in order to revive the idea of Levi's as the quintessential all American jeans brand. I think they did a great job, the campaign is sexy, coherent, artistic and inspiring.

There are two accompanying commercials: "America (Go Forth)" is directed by Cary Fukunaga and uses the poem “America” by Walt Whitman. The featured song is "The CN Tower Belongs To The Dead (Many Ives Version)" by Final Fantasy.

The second commercial (which uses another poem by Walt Whitman) is directed by M Blash and is entitled OPioneers!
