Published in June 2009, ‘Lifeguard on Duty’ is the result of years of travel across America, with photographer Matt Albiani capturing lifeguards in their own territory. A former lifeguard himself, Matt draws an emotive portrait of these young guys with a style that I find as a cross between Bruce Weber and Hedi Slimane.
