I discovered the photography of Matt Albiani earlier this year after coming across his brilliant photography book Lifeguard on Duty. There is a distinctive Weber-like quality to Matt’s images, with the focus being less on the physical sensuality and more on the emotional connection. The New York based photographer communicates so much through the light composition of his images, the faces of his models and their body language. It is no wonder he has worked for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Interview, Vanity Fair, Victoria's Secret, Nautica, Out, and Esquire.
