I am a religious man and I believe that using crucifix in an advertisement is blasphemy. Furthermore, Madonna uses it in somewhat inappropriate way. I consider this as an offence. And even furthermore, a person, writing books for children should not do such things. it is extremely immature, cheap and disrespectful.

I'm not religious and don't find the photos blasphemous, in fact I find them quite beautiful. Still, this is something I'd expect of the Madonnna of 20 years ago. Not from a mother of two and adoptive mother of...well I lost track of how many kids she's adopted! If my mom was taking pictures like this I'd probably say: "ma, put out that cigarrette and put some damn clothes on!!!"

I'm just glad to see a woman of Madonna's age still has what it takes. Fantastic poses, brilliantly captured. Very tasteful to me!
