Butch SS11 ft. Mateus Verdelho by Cristiano Madureira

 

 

Brazilian underwear brand Butch are launching their Spring/Summer 2011 campaign featuring Mateus Verdelho. The tattooed model was photographed by Cristiano Madureira at an old skating ramp in São Paulo. Unlike most underwear campaigns with their cheesy and predicted poses and themes, I love the spirit of this.

One of the things that I love about Brazilian ffw>> mag! is that each issue features an epically huge editorial mixing fashion and culture. Photographer Cristiano Madureira steps out to the size challenge with a 90 (!!!) page engaging editorial in their recent 18th issue. The story ‘No dia q eu vim-em embora’ is styled by Paulo Martinez.
