A Decadent Hercules by Mariano Vivanco
If the suggestively phallic cover was not enough, here is something to whet your appetite over the new issue of Hercules magazine, out on 10.10.10. A deliciously decadent little film by Mariano Vivanco with fashion direction by Nicola Formichetti and directing/editing by Luca Finotti. It gets pretty NSFW after the jump, just the way I like it.

Geil Magazine Tries to Save The Males!
Unhappy with what they saw at the recent Summer fashion shows, Geil magazine chief editor Daniele Mancinetti and his fashion director Benjamin Armand aim to "Save the Males!" in the upcoming fourth issue of the men’s fashion magazine, out in September 2010.
"Like endangered species such as sea turtles or blue whales, real males on catwalks seem to have disappeared, replaced by skinny 'womanized' teenagers carrying handbags and wearing hot pants," explained Daniele, "Apart from the classical Armani and Bottega Veneta man, and the beefy statuary boys of Dolce & Gabbana and DSquared2, “real males” seems to be out of fashion, condemned to hard time trying to fit in slim pants or structured jackets."

A Shaded View on Steven Klein’s ‘Lara, Fiction Noir’ Film
Congratulations are in order to Steven Klein, one of my favorite photographers, who just won the Jury Prize in the ‘Reflection’ section of ‘A Shaded View on Fashion Film’ 2009 competition in Paris, for his “Lara, Fiction Noir” film.

The film was done in conjunction with Steven Klein’s Lara Stone editorial in Vogue Paris, February 2009 issue. It also features Travis Hanson and Doug porter. You can see that bloody & violent editorial here.
