I am a big big big fan of Miles Aldridge and his visually supercharged and amplified photography. Sadly Miles has stopped shooting men in the past few years, but the gender of his models does not prevent us from enjoying his work. Having just finished reading his latest book, Pictures for Photographs, I just had to do a post about it and share some of the book’s images with you. In addition to his photographs, the book shares Miles’ sketches that generate the idea of his images, giving us a glimpse into his creative process. More (NSFW) images after the jump.

FLASHBACK :: ‘Pleine Lune’ by Miles Aldridge

 

Let’s go back in time a couple of years. Back to a beautiful time when photographer Miles Aldridge was shooting men. Our time machine is taking us to the Fall/Winter 2007-2008 issue of Numéro Homme.

 

 

Miles contributed a magnificent editorial entitled ‘Pleine Lune’ to that issue, with fashion editor Samuel François. We need Miles to start shooting men again… the women can’t have it all!
