Drawing inspiration from Richard Gere’s 1980 movie American Gigolo, Ryan Mertz stars as a man who plays for pay in the editorial ‘Gigolo’ by Nicky Emmerson. The story is one of three Ryan/Nicky editorials in the first issue of Emmerson Hodge, a new magazine created by photographer Nicky Emmerson and art director Ashley Hodge. The issue is dubbed ‘The Mertz Issue’ and it’s ALL about Ryan.

Ah, the after hours… when you’re very drunk, very tired, and very horny. Photography duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott bring their vision of the After Hours  with a British flavor to the March 2010 issue of W (complete with a little British flag in the editorial’s title in the printed magazine). The shoot took place at The Rivoli Ballroom, Lewisham, England with styling by Alex White.

 

 

The boys are Cole Mohr, Tom Nicon, Ryan Mertz, Rob Moore, Jake Cooper, Maximilian Parsons and Robbie Wadge. The girls are Iris Strubegger, Lindsey Wixson, Kate Fogarty, Elsa Sylvan, Hannah Holman, and Vika Kuropyatnikova. More after the jump.
