Lady GaGa by Sebastian Faena in V Magazine

 

Remember the orbiting golden Nasir Mazhar hat we recently posted about, that Lady GaGa sported during her Ellen show appearance? We finally get to see the V Magazine editorial (V60, July/August 2009 issue) that introduced Lady GaGa to the galaxy-tastic headgear.

 

 

A match made in heaven, Nicola Formichetti (site, blog) works his styling magic on Lady GaGa with energetic photography by Sebastian Faena and an obvious  nod to Madonna here and there. There is no pretention here. Lady GaGa breathes fashion on a daily basis, and Nicola and V Magazine are the perfect fit to showcase this fascinating pop icon. I can’t imagine a better collaboration, and the resulting images back up the hype.

The ‘Hell’s Bellas’ editorial also features Chanel Iman, Catherine McNeil, Anja Rubik, Eniko Mihalik, Hannelore Knuts, and Abbey Lee Kershaw with bold styling by Sofia Achaval.
