A Naked Bruno Covers GQ Magazine by Mark Seliger

 

Our favorite Austrian fashionista Brüno takes over the July 2009 issue of GQ magazine with a scandalous shoot by famous celebrity photographer Mark Seliger. ‘A Man Among Men’ features the gay alter ego of actor Sacha Baron Cohen tackling a football team, flirting with skinheads, and happily riding on a motor bike behind a bear.

An Indian in America :: Levi's Button Fly Jeans Ads

Levi's are very active in their 'Live UnButtoned' campaign. In addition to the sensual Josh Beech ads, Levi's are releasing different campaigns all over the world. Here we bring you a new campaign from India promoting the Levi's Button Fly Jeans. The ads feature hunky Indian actor Akshay Kumar.




This was done by Fisheye Creative Solutions, Bangalore with photography by Tejal Patni.



Recently ad agency BBH, Singapore did these cool suggestive ads with photography by Mark Seliger. The ads ask you, "Who do you want to unbutton?"





Finally, these ads are a bit older but I still like them. The 'denim addiction' ads for Levi's Red Tab jeans, also from Singapore, show how these jeans can be addictive, you can't let go of it! They were done by ad agency OgilvyOne.

The Photography of Mark Seliger

 

I got curious about the photography of Mark Seliger after I featured the new Frankie Morello campaign he shot. Upon visiting his online portfolio, I found many images that I liked, from backstage shots of Milan fashion shows to portraits of musicians and movie stars such as Kurt Cobain, Paul McCartney, Casey Affleck & Lenny Kravitz. I share some of them with you here.

 

Sneak Into The Boys Locker Room with Frankie Morello

 

Italian brand Frankie Morello has released their Spring-Summer 2009 ad campaign, and I like it! The campaign, which was shot by photographer Mark Seliger, has a theme of sports, both on the field and in the locker room (is the cute guy below checking out the girl or the boys?). 

 

 

 

The ads were styled by Patti Wilson and feature models Jarek Pietka, Pernille Moeller, and Holden Nowell . And because the campaign only has a couple of shots, I bring you a few homolicious ads from their previous campaigns (note: only the ones above are from the SS 09).
